Gift Swap

Today, Boston's urban playground group Banditos Misteriosos held "Freeform Gift Swap". It took place around 2:00pm at Copley Square right in front of Trinity Church. About 150 participants showed up with wrapped gifts to trade. We were each given a card with a colored number on it, which divided us up into swapping groups when the announcer, Ethan Feuer, called out "will all the 1's come up", or "all the blues". I traded gifts about 15 times total, and ended up with a bobblehead of Benjamin Franklin. Ironically, the gift was brought by a friend of mine that came down with me. The gift I gave away was a package of plastic army men wrapped in blue bandana wrapping paper-- quite appropriate for a banditos event! Here are a selection of the pictures I took of the event; to see more, click here.
